“After coming back from my experience with The Traveling School, I realized that those were the most inspiring and eye-opening four months of my life. I also found that I was able to express myself creatively in ways that I had never had the opportunity to do in a traditional high school setting. This is why I had no trouble coming up with a senior project at the end of my high school career. I decided to research the neural basis of where creativity comes from and create a short video using footage from my travels as a way of presenting the theme. In the video, I address these main questions: What areas of our brain do we use most when coming up with creative insight? How can we stimulate creativity? And in what ways can we become better creative thinkers in our daily lives?”
