As we eagerly await the return of our Traveling School students from their Missouri River expedition (they return Sunday – wohoo!), we remind ourselves in the office that no news is good news! While our home office team is busy at our computers… we know our TTS38 students are busy mastering the art of backcountry cooking, finessing their canoe paddle strokes, and digging into rich conversations with their teachers and instructors by the riverside.

Montana Wilderness School, our partner organization and contractor for our Missouri trip, posted an update this morning with some snapshots from the field:

And if you haven’t already, make sure to follow The Traveling School on Instagram, where we’ll occasionally post recent photos from the group as well. Here’s today’s post, a recap of students’ adventures last week in Yellowstone…

Finally, check out Scott Veirs’ photo album from arrival day — it’s great to see some more snapshots, especially if you weren’t able to be at the first day in person. Thank you, Scott!

We look forward to updating the blog with more details soon once the group is back in connectivity!
